Unholy Alliance free game update unleashes for the acclaimed Cult of the Lamb on Linux and Steam Deck via Windows PC with the Pilgrim Pack. Thanks to the brilliant minds at Massive Monster. Which is now available for the game on Steam and Humble Store as well as GOG.
The latest free update for Cult of the Lamb , called “Unholy Alliance,” is out now playable on Linux and Steam Deck (Verified). It’s also full of exciting new features. One of the best additions is a new playable character, the Goat. This eerie companion, summoned by blood and born from corruption, can now team up with the Lamb in local co-op mode. That’s right, you can now explore dungeons, take down heretics, and build your cult together with a friend!
But free update Unholy Alliance is not all. The world is expanding even further with the release of the Pilgrim Pack. A paid DLC that brings you into a whole new realm of the universe. The Pilgrim Pack features interactive fiction from the talented writer JoJo Zhou and stunning visuals from Cales Dalmau. This DLC offers a fresh look on the world. While introducing familiar faces, new characters, and plenty of mysteries to uncover.

With “Unholy Alliance,” the entire campaign of Cult of the Lamb is now free to play in local co-op. You and your friend can enjoy special 2-player versions of mini-games like Fishing and Knucklebones. Plus, there’s a variety of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics to choose from as you work together on your crusades.
The Lamb and Goat have some awesome synergy too. They can swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting side by side, and even land critical hits when their attacks are perfectly timed. If you prefer solo play, don’t worry—there are plenty of new powers to enjoy on your own as well.
In addition to the co-op mode, “Unholy Alliance” also adds a bunch of free new content. There are more tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, character traits, and quests, along with new secrets waiting for you to discover.
“Unholy Alliance” is available for free on Linux and Steam Deck via Windows PC. If you’re eager to in diving deeper into the title’s lore, the Pilgrim Pack DLC is available for purchase. Doing so on Steam, GOG, and Humble Store. Priced at $6.99 USD / £5.99 / 6,99€.
The base game is discounted 50% on Steam dropping the price to $12.49 USD / £9.74 / 11,49€. While offering a 40% discount on GOG, and Humble Store.
Also keep in mind, the GOG install is more of a manual Proton or WINE setup. Which may not be for the faint of heart.
