Claimed to be the world’s first MMO to be released concurrently on mobile and desktop platforms, Dark Legends has been outed by Spacetime Studios through Google Play for Android and the Chrome Web Store for PC, Mac and Linux. For a two week period, the game will be available exclusively on these Google platforms, after which it will make its way to iOS.
This launch of the title across both mobile and desktop simultaneously is said to be aimed by Spacetime Studios at creating a ubiquitous social gaming experience. The developer’s Legends series of offerings are apparently the only 3D MMOs in the world that enable gamers to play the same game together on desktop computers, smart phones as well as tablets.

Gary Gattis, CEO of Spacetime Studios, revealed, “Google Play and the Chrome Web Store allow us to upload and update our online, multiplayer games instantly. Their immediate and unified environment fits perfectly with Spacetime’s ability to push global content to our suite of games on-the-fly across mobile and desktop. We’re both at the forefront of creating cross-platform gameplay that connects players in a much deeper online experience, anywhere and on any device.”
The game is set in a modern-day urban environment in which humans are aware about the existence of vampires. Players will be placed in the shoes of one such vampire who must fight in order to survive in a world which fears and hates their kind. This is the third title in the popular Legends series, which was preceded by Pocket Legends and Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles.
Dark Legends is now available for free on both Google Play and Chrome Web Store. It shall hit iOS within a few weeks.
