A Hack and Slash Roguelite Built for Chaos

Trials Survivors mixes survivor-style combat with the loot chase of classic action RPGs. You fight huge crowds, collect upgrades, and shape a new build during every run.

The game comes from a team of just two developers. That makes its scale even more striking.

Players take on cosmic Trials granted by patron constellations. These challenges include surviving timed waves, escorting relics, and destroying ominous totems.

Each Trial pushes your build in a different way. A setup that clears normal enemies may struggle when you must protect an objective. That pressure should keep runs from feeling like simple damage checks.

The Early Access version launches with five classes, seven constellations, and 95 spell evolution’s. That gives players plenty of room to experiment.

Every skill and evolution has been designed by hand. The developers are not relying on procedural generation to create random abilities.

Their current goal is to complete the full version about one year after the Early Access launch. That timeline is a target rather than a fixed promise.

Linux Players Are Included From Day One

The game launches for Linux players, that means support is confirmed at release rather than planned for an unknown future date.

The developers also say the game was built to handle extreme numbers of enemies and projectiles. Its systems can scale down for older hardware, which should interest players using aging desktops or less powerful laptops.

No detailed performance figures or system requirements were provided. Steam Deck support was also not confirmed in the announcement.

Still, native support and a stated focus on scalable performance are welcome signs. Releases in this genre can become demanding once hundreds of enemies and effects cover the screen.

A Free Trials Survivors Demo Ahead of Release

You do not need to wait until launch to test the combat. A free native demo is out on Steam.

Trials Survivors has already gathered more than 12,000 Steam wishlists ahead of the release. That is a solid start for a project of only two people.

The Early Access version will support 29 languages. These include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

The Trials Survivors release is due to arrive June 8th, 2026. It will cost $9.99 USD / £8.00 / 9,40€, with Steam Early Access and a launch-week discount.
