British game publisher Chilled Mouse #announced that their anticipated music #puzzle title Chime Sharp is now #available on Steam for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Chime Sharp returns as a bolder and more polished version of the critically acclaimed original Chime and brings players a unique crossover between music and interaction. While players logically position various shapes on the grid, the passing beatline reads formed blocks as notes all the while remixing popular electronic music tunes.
“Chime Sharp represents the next step in the path that Ste Curran and Zoë Mode took with the original game,” said Ian Baverstock, CEO of Chilled Mouse. “Our goal now, as it was then, is to have players engage with and remix quality music through compelling gameplay, seamlessly blending the two elements. We’re so proud of the roster of musicians we got to work with for Chime Sharp, and we hope players will feel the same way when they start remixing those amazing tunes themselves!”
Chime Sharp takes Chime’s classic dynamic and updates it for 2015. The core rules are the same but the aesthetic is clean and modern and the game’s soundtrack has been completely refreshed. With fifteen new levels, experimental modes, new-era connectivity and sharper ways to play, Chime’s finally back — and it wants to be your new favourite mixtape.
Chime Sharp is available now on Steam for Linux, Mac and Windows PC with a 20% launch discount until July 26th from $14.99/€14.99//£9.99.
