Unpacking a unique zen puzzle game releases on Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Due to the work and ideas of developer Witch Beam. The release is now available on Steam, GOG, and Humble Store with Very Positive reviews.

To celebrate the relesae of Unpacking, the team has released a brand new trailer. Humble also took part in hosting an Extra Life charity stream supporting UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. This also includes the launch celebration for Unpacking with Witch Beam developers Wren and Tim. Check out the video, it’s almost better than playing a Demo.

Unpacking is a zen game about the familiar experience. Since gameplay is all about pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home. Part block fitting puzzle and part home decoration. You are invited to create a worthy living space while learning clues about the life you’re unpacking. Over the course of eight house moves, you get a chance to take on the experience. Creating a sense of intimacy with a character you never see. As well as a story you will never know. Which is certainly a very smart and unique idea for a game.
