Steel Assault – Launch Trailer

You are Taro Takahashi, a resistance soldier on a revenge mission. You are also facing off a dictator who lords over the ashes. You’ll punch enemies and zipline your way out of danger. Steel Assault takes place in a post apocalyptic America, rendered in 16-bit style graphics.

Features:

  • TRUE ARCADE EXPERIENCE: A classic retro gaming for both old school and next gen players. No matter the skill, there’s a difficulty mode for everyone. Arcade mode is the ultimate Steel Assault gameplay. Also a “1 coin clear” mode for the hardcore and speed runners.
  • 4:3 ASPECT RATIO/CRT FILTERS: Studio founder Sri Kankanahalli designed Steel Assault with the classic 4:3 aspect ratio. All due to keep the action quick and surprising. Doing so just like it was back in the day. Steel Assault’s many filters and video options are available. This is due to support a range of gaming setups.
  • EXPLOSIVE  SOUNDTRACK: A superb, fast paced, and hostile Steel Assault soundtrack. This adds a layer of pressure and anxiety to the gameplay. Amazing FM synthesized tunes with just enough industrial rock. All chiptune to please bit crunched music fans.

Punch, whip, and zipline your way through the game. Steel Assault‘s 16-bit retro style action platformer will have you playing as Taro Takahashi. So you can take on your revenge mission against the dictator.

Steel Assault retro style action platformer releases on Steam and Humble Store. All priced of $14.99 USD (with a special 10% launch discount on Steam). This also includes support for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC.
