So what’s the deal? In Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior, you play as… well, Voivod — a shapeshifting warrior who’s lost his head. Literally. All that’s left is your disembodied consciousness, known as Nothingface, trying to piece yourself back together in a shattered post-apocalyptic nightmare. It’s wild, weird, and kind of beautiful — in that “biomechanical terror with synth-metal vibes” kind of way.
From what we’ve seen in the trailer, this thing has real teeth. Fast-paced run and gun action meets thoughtful exploration, with tight combat and a slick pixel-art style that drips atmosphere.
