Christmas Truce game event is taking place in Verdun across Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Which is once again due to the commitment of developers M2H and Blackmill Games. Available on both Steam and Humble Store.
From now until January 5th, 2023, soldiers in the authentic WW1 FPS game Verdun can cease fighting. Due to instead enjoy the company of each other in this year’s Christmas Truce. For those who do not know, the game will be on sale at a discount of 70% on Steam.
Starting December 22nd until January 5th, players can re-enact the famous Christmas Truce. Since this that took place during the First World War. During this timed event, everyone can call a truce. Due to celebrate the festive season with soldiers from all sides. Stroll through the snowy winter map in Verdun and take part in a snowball fight. You can join a friendly football (soccer) match. Huddle up by a bonfire and listen to some Christmas carols. Maybe even send a Christmas card to friends and family.

The Christmas Truce taking place in Verdun is available on Steam with a discount of 70%. Regular price on Humble Store. The series’ latest game Isonzo is available with a discount of 20% on Steam. Regular price on Humble Store. Isonzo was released in September and received a free expansion earlier this month.
Verdun’s special event is based on the historic Christmas Truce that took place during World War 1 in 1914. This marked the first Christmas that soldiers would experience at the start of one of the most destructive wars to ever take place. The fighting had died down following the stalemate of the First Battle of Ypres. While soldiers from both sides of the fight decided to lay down their weapons for a temporary truce and instead celebrate Christmas together.
