Dead Finger Dice the brutal dice roguelike card battler game is rolling onto both Linux and Windows PC. All of this twisted brilliance comes straight from the creative minds at Rocket Adrift. Which is due to find its way onto Steam soon.
Players sit down for a game of poker, except the chips are cursed dice. Since the buy-in is your fingers, and your opponents are demonic billionaires who’d happily watch you sink to the bottom of the ocean. Welcome to Dead Finger Dice: The Billionaire Killing title, launching on Steam October 24, 2025, from publisher Black Lantern Collective and developer Rocket Adrift.
This isn’t your grandma’s poker night. Trapped in a nightmare tournament you never asked to join, you’ve got one goal, survive long enough to bleed the billionaires dry. You’ll roll five dice, take three gut-wrenching rerolls, and pray for a winning hand. Lose? You’re dead. Overboard. Done. But don’t worry, another poor soul will take your place… and your fight continues. Win? You get to carve a little power back, piece by cursed piece.
And yes, sometimes that piece is literally a finger.
Dice, Death, and Billionaire Blood
Dead Finger Dice has a cruel sense of humor. Every time you win, you can collect loot from your fallen foe: charms, cursed upgrades, strange materials, and yes, even a bloody finger or two. Use those winnings to craft custom dice, stash away rare treasures in your secret compartment, and try again. Because here’s the kicker, death is permanent. One bad roll, and you’re back at square one, with nothing but the memory of the billionaires you managed to drag down with you.
These aren’t just rich guys in suits, either. The developers leaned into the fantasy we’ve all thought about at one point or another: billionaires are monsters. So Rocket Adrift skipped the disguise, every boss you face is literally a grotesque, demonic abomination of greed. Each one rules their deck of the yacht with unique rules, nasty modifiers, and sadistic twists on this title.
Dead Finger Dice The Billionaire Killing
A Poker Roguelike Like Nothing Else
If you’ve played card battler dice roguelikes, you know the drill: you die, you learn, you come back stronger. But Dead Finger Dice dials up the drama by mixing dice-building, poker bluffing, and a horror-movie death loop. Sometimes the difference between a royal flush and a measly pair isn’t bragging rights, it’s whether you live or get tossed into the black water.
Every roll feels like gambling with your life, because… well, it is.
You can also play the Linux Demo on both Steam and itch.
Why You Should Keep an Eye on Dead Finger Dice
I’ve played plenty of horror-themed roguelikes, but this has a raw, wicked energy. It’s part strategy, part luck, part nightmare fuel. The dark upgrades are brutal: curse your dice, warp them with forbidden charms, and hope they don’t betray you at the worst moment. And when you finally take down one of those grotesque billionaires? The feeling is pure gamer catharsis.
So mark your calendars, October 24, 2025. If you’ve ever wanted to take billionaires down a peg (or a finger), this is your shot. Just don’t get too attached to your hands.
