Have a Nice Death, the darkly charming 2D action roguelike game is leaving Early Access. Due to officially launch on Windows PC (Steam and Steam Deck) on March 22nd. Right now, Death, takes charge and shows everyone who’s the one and only boss of Death Incorporated. Gearing up to take on this enjoyably morbid adventure before you hack’n’scythe your way through it.

We can confirm you that the game will do a Linux port. For now, we’re focusing on the launch of the game on PC (Windows).

The game is being developed in Unity 3D and Steam Deck Verified. According to the Magic Design Studios email reply, there is a likely chance a native Linux build is coming. Although, according to recent details, after the March 22nd launch.
Since Have a Nice Death is having solid success via Early Access, adding more platforms makes sense.

As the company’s supreme leader, they will explore the darkly charming, procedurally generated departments of the corporation’s headquarters. All due to round up and reclaim rogue employees who have been ignoring company protocol. Doing so by snatching up far too many souls on Earth. Getting the department bosses, also known as Sorrows, and their minions under control. However, this is a difficult task and will require multiple runs to complete. Luckily, players have an arsenal of weapons, spells, and special skills on hand to finish the job.
