The weekend is here and it’s time to get caught up on some gaming. Salt and Sanctuary is now officially released for Linux and Mac. Technically the #release #announcement came yesterday, however, what better time to get into some gameplay but the weekend.

Here’s the full announcement on Steam:

Hello everyone! James and Michelle are out at BitSummit this week, so they weren’t able to get these notes out at the same time as the release. Here’s what yesterday’s download was all about:

1.0.0.5

  • Japanese version launch!
  • Linux and macOS version launch!
  • Implemented X/O O/X accept/cancel toggle
  • Fixed co-op char repair for missing vertigo brand after killing the Kraekan Wyrm
  • Fixed Italian localization

Linux/Mac support will be handled in this dedicated subforum.

Salt and Sanctuary is a fantastic game that seamlessly combines fast, brutal, and complex 2D combat with richly developed RPG mechanics. Discover, craft, and upgrade over 600 weapons, armor pieces, spells, and items as you explore a cursed realm of forgotten cities, blood-soaked dungeons, desecrated monuments, and the fallen lords they once celebrated.

If you have yet to get into Salt and Sanctuary, the game is well worth the time. And now, fully released on Steam.
