Independent game development studio Edudelm releases the free demo. Giving you a chance to play the action packed RPG, Mist Guard, on on Linux. Which actually plays quite well and has responsive controller support in-game.
In Mist Guard, you wake up in a dark, mysterious prison without any memories. The narration of the story is all text based, just a heads up. While your main objective is to escape this prison. Doing so by solving puzzles to proceed. Face multiple enemies, cross dark corridors, then upgrade your character on the fly to escape. Actually, the upgrade system is progressive. So instead of throwing you back in some menu, it’s a pop-up on-screen. But first, check out the devlog.

Mist Guard was originally known as Prisoner. Which received positive reviews from players and had about 5K downloads with no marketing. Now, 7 years later we have a newer version of the game.
The demo version will contain the intro and the first boss fight. Apart from that, it will also explain the reason why the game is called Mist Guard. Otherwise, be mindful, you can’t really adjust the camera angles. The game does this for you. But you can see your character behind walls.
