Mad Cream Games is eager to announce that Painting Werther, a paintable visual novel, will be launching Linux, Mac, and Windows PC on February 14. Which is also an adaptation of “The Sorrows of Young Werther.” A story originally written in German by Goethe in 1774. The game lasts more than 3 hours and also contains more than 150 authors and 500 paintings.

Was young Werther really a romantic? Or was he just a man with a death wish?
How deeply did he really love his friend Wilhelm? Maybe his letters hide some clues…

The original book tells the story of Werther, a man who falls in love with Charlotte. She is a woman who is engaged to another man, Albert. Werther ends up committing suicide to free himself due to not receiving any communication.
Painting Werther does have a playable Demo on Steam. This also includes support for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Should you decide to delve into some gameplay.
