Developer Double Eleven has announced that it will be bringing another PixelJunk title to PC, Mac, and Linux later this year. That game will be PixelJunk Shooter.
PixelJunk Shooter was origianally released on PSN for the PlayStation 3 back in 2009. As the fourth game in the PixelJunk series, the title puts players in control of a ship where they must rescue scientists that are trapped underground while solving “environmental puzzles by manipulating fire, ice, water and even a strange black magnetic liquid.” The game also throws in enemies where it sort of acts like a dual-stick shooter.
Double Eleven previously brought PixelJunk Monsters to PC and Vita, so it’s no stranger when it comes to porting Q-Games titles to other platforms. Expect PixelJunk Shooter to arrive for Steam and other digital services on November 11 for $8.99/£5.99/€6.99.
PixelJunk Shooter will be released for PC, Mac and Linux on November 11.
