So th action RPG design is all about maximizing player choice. Journey through the unfamiliar. Unlock your creative potential. Also utilize your environment to stack the odds in your favor.

This also means devising the ideal plan to overcome the challenges you face or dive in and think on your feet.

Published by 505 Games, Underworld Ascendant will return players to a memorable and breathtaking fantasy realm. Which will come with plenty of danger and full of intrigue. The game encourages and rewards player experimentation. While boasting an environment that reacts dynamically to player choices.

So this means a wide range of items, skills and abilities. That affords players meaningful gameplay decisions. OtherSide is innovating upon the player-authored gameplay of the original series. Doing so in bold new ways to bring the ‘immersive sim’ genre forward in this action-RPG

Also for those that do not remember. We issued a post regarding Linux and Mac support. With a formal announcement indicating when we can expect support, “a short time after.”

Underworld Ascendant will be available for demos at E3. Including the opportunity to talk to Neurath. Also Spector or the game’s director/writer, Joe Fielder (BioShock Infinite). Which means there will be more detail available soon. Since I am personally excited for the release.

Underworld Ascendant will be published on Steam for Windows in September 2018. Players can Wishlist the game now on Steam and Humble Store. There is also no specific release date just yet though.
