Developed by the indie legends at Pentapaw Studios in Germany and published by Bold Head Interactive, Yarn Guardians is a 2D action adventure with a soul. It’s got the cozy exploration of a Metroidvania, wrapped in the fast-paced chaos of twin-stick shooter combat. So, think Hollow Knight meets Enter the Gungeon, but with a flying cat, and magical yarn. And also a whole lot more emotional punch.
You play as Rudy, a brave little feline with wings — and a big heart. Life was chill until a surprise attack on his peaceful home turned everything upside down. Now Rudy’s got one mission: become a Yarn Guardian and stop a war that could unravel the entire world. To do that, he’ll need to find five enchanted yarn balls, each bursting with unique powers to help blast enemies. While opening up new areas and uncover the secrets behind the looming threat.
